The Easter Day Parade

What could be more fun than participating in the Easter Parade along the boulevard? All of the pretty girls will be wearing their finest and that includes our Little Wooden Doll! She has chosen her matching dress and hat for this special occasion.

The dress is a bright and cheerful yellow, orange and purple floral pattern with a matching hat, which has spray of soft white flowers attached to the brim. The bonnet has a heavy cardboard backing to it.

There is some special golden glitter on the dress which will make our LWD stand out in the crowd!

  1. I'm visiting from Kelly's blog. Your dolls are adorable. What a lovely treasure you gave Kelly all those years ago when you made her the first little wooden dolls, and a wonderful birthday treasure that suits her interests so well now.

  3. To Elaine and Ena!
thanks for your comments about the Birding Girl and also the Little Wooden Doll! I had so much fun making those "old" dolls for Kelly when she was just a sweet little munchkin!

  4. ...with the additional snow and cold that came in last night I don't think we'll ever be wearing sundresses. Glad LWD can!! I wonder if we will have snow for the Winter Picnic next weekend?

  5. It couldn't get any colder than last year!! But even if there is snow - we will still be there. Think how the birds will show up!
