The Tax Man Cometh!

Our Little Wooden Doll is going to hang out in her room while her dad does the income tax! Lots of grumbling sounds are echoing throughout the entire house!

Although dad keeps muttering that “we are all going to the poor house”, LWD’s mother smiles patiently and says “everything will be fine”!

Just in case, our Little Wooden Doll wants to be properly dressed – and she is stuffing extra money in all of her pockets and one dollar bill even got stuck on her hat!

We Have A Stray Cat

It is a little white and gray cat who doesn’t seem to be much of a ‘mouser’ and certainly won’t become one because our Little Wooden Doll feeds him everyday! Each afternoon when she comes home from school, she invites him to come into the kitchen, but everyday, he says “no” and runs off to the woods!

Wearing her little green dress with sweet pictures of kittens galore, our LWD watches every day for him at the window – she calls him “Phantom”! She knows one day he will let her pet him. Meow!

Thanks Pat for everything! Happy Birthday today!
